We all know the stories and history that got Dave Grohl moving with his "solo" Foo Fighters project. As Grohl admitted, it wasn't mean to last long "or I'd have come up with a better made" (I don't know Dave. I like the name Foo Fighters). But one of our favourite stories of the early FFs days was why he came up with the "nonsense" lyrics (his words, not ours) for This Is A Call... knowing that the press would be all over his lyrics for references to Kurt Cobain, he wanted to give them absolutely nothing. Nice work Dave and just another reason why we love ya.
