You may have noticed that our website is named after an 80s hair metal song so it is safe to say that jazz was not what I grew up listening to. Not nearly enough shouting at the devil whilst having nothin' but a good time. However we all get older and our musical tastes broaden and mature (much like the male waistline) - damn good job too as had I staying listening to the sounds of Sunset Strip I may never have been turned onto the genius of jazz and in particular, the brilliance of Miles Davis. Hearing Miles Davis for the first time was near orgasmic and I only wish he'd been in my life longer.
