I have to confess to coming to Pete Seeger late. Like so many I first heard the songs of Pete Seeger when Bruce Springsteen released The Seeger Sessions, then just a few months later he was introduced to one of the biggest audiences in history when in his 90th year, he performed Woddy Guthrie's “This Land Is Your Land” at Barrack Obama's inauguration. Delving into Pete Seeger's back catalogue & unearthing such a rich tapestry of songwriting, activism & ideology has been a real honour & one that we really should tell more people about – I suppose we can start by wearing this Pete Seeger T-shirt.
