FOREIGNER inspired DIRTY WHITE BOY

When it comes to great rock voices we all always come up with the same usual suspects, but all to often forgotten is Foreigner's Lou Gramm. I've only seen Gramm live once and it wasn't actually with Foreigner, but with his short lived side project with Viv Campbell, Shadow King, at their own ever performance at the London Astoria. Wow, what a voice. Genuinely one of the greatest I have EVER heard. A real bluesy soul every bit as great as Paul Rodgers. But in Foreigner he had the brilliant Mick Jones complete with the catalyst of the traditionally tense singer-guitarist relationship to take them into the super league of 80s AOR with only Journey even getting close.
