We all know the heritage of the Cold Chisel debut single Khe Sanh with it's story of government betrayal of it's war veterans and their search for both personal peace and a normal life, but what isn't quite so clear is why both Khe Sanh as a song with it's near universal resonance and indeed Cold Chisel's entire Springsteen-esque back catalogue only achieved domestic success?
