You form a band with your family, you come up with a great look, you start working on a sound that would eventually change the face of modern music and you come up with a name that is a nice pun based on your favourite type of shirt. You head into the studio to record your first single and eagerly await it's release. You open the box of beautifully pressed vinyl. But what the heck is this? You're meant to be called the Pendletones, so who on earth are The Beach Boys? Oh well, no point arguing with the record company about it as you've got no money to repress the labels, so you better hope this new name works OK.
