Like so many great songs, Jean Genie makes all the sense of debating the moon landings with a badger (unless that badger is Brian May of course) Influences a plenty from sundry items of Americana and a French author to groupies/Band Aids and Iggy Pop. Does it matter? Of course not. For us, this is Bowie at his rock n' roll peak.
