Although Marc Bolan's back catalogue dates back to the gloriously titled folk rock of "My People Were Fair and Had Sky in Their Hair... But Now They're Content to Wear Stars on Their Brows", the iconic image that inevitably springs to mind whenever Marc Bolan and T Rex are mentioned is of the glitter speckled, corkscrew haired rock n' roll superstar of mid 70s glam. Those spectacular rhyming lyrics ("I drive a Rolls Royce, 'Cause it's good for my voice") and a sense of fun the emanated from ever pose struck, every chord hit and every last twinkle in those beautiful eyes. And no where was that more exemplified than in the 1972 single "Children Of The Revolution". Bloody love T Rex.
