Yes, we know that the bordello that inspired ZZ Top to pen La Grange was The Chicken Ranch, however our inspiration comes from the song where "Rumour spreadin' a-round that Texas town, 'bout that SHACK outside La Grange". OK, so now we've cleared that up, let's celebrate the fact that that little ole band from Texas write a song about a whorehouse that became a global mainstream radio hit. Simple but brilliant in every sense - the lyrics, the riff and of course the most simple of sentiments.
